Grab a cutting board and knife
Chop half an onion into small pieces
Place medium sauce pan over medium heat
Add 2 tablespoons of olive oil to medium saucepan
Once oil is hot, add 1/2 an onion of chopped onions into pan
Stir often until onions are soft and golden
Add 1 tablespoon of minced garlic to medium sauce pan and stir for 1 minute
Using a can opener, open can of tomatoes
Stir in 28oz of crushed tomatoes
Add 1/2 teaspoon of oregano
Add 1/2 teaspoon of salt
Add 1/4 teaspoon pepper
Let sauce sit for 10 minutes
Turn hot plate down to setting 2 and let it simmer partially covered for 15 minutes
Turn hot plate off
