Pork Dumplings

Equipment

  • 1 Mixing bowl
  • 1 Metal steamer
  • 1 Cutting Board & Knife
  • 1 TSP
  • 1 TBSP
  • 1 Hotplate
  • Cooking spray

Ingredients

  • Wonton wrappers
  • 1 3/4 lbs Ground pork
  • 1 tbsp Ginger
  • 2 tbsp Minced garlic
  • Green onions
  • 4 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp Sesame oil
  • 1 Egg
  • 5 cups Cabbage

Instructions

  • Grab a large mixing bowl
  • Grab a cutting board & knife
  • Cut green onion into small pieces
  • Add 1 3/4 pounds ground pork to bowl
  • Add 1 tbsp ginger to bowl
  • Add 2 tbsp garlic to bowl
  • Add desired amount of green onion to bowl
  • Add 4 tbsp soy sauce to bowl
  • Add 3 tbsp sesame oil to bowl
  • Add 1 egg to bowl
  • Add 5 cups cabbage to bowl
  • Mix until all ingredients are combined
  • Grab a plate
  • Grab a bowl of water
  • Place 1 wonton on the plate
  • Grab a teaspoon
  • Scoop out the beef mixture
  • Place the mixture in the middle of the wonton
  • Moisten the wonton edges with water using your hands
  • Fold the edges over to form a triangle
  • Roll the other 2 edges to seal the wonton
  • Continue this step until all beef mixture is used
  • Grab a hotplate & pot
  • Fill the pot halfway with water
  • Place the pot on the hotplate
  • Turn to medium heat
  • Let the pot boil
  • Grab the metal steamer & spray cooking spray on it
  • Place a metal steamer on pot
  • Place the wontons in the steamer
  • Place the lid on the pot
  • Steam wontons for 15 minutes
  • Once done turn hotplate off & enjoy with soy sauce!
