Super Simple Chicken Noodle Soup

Servings 7 people

Equipment

  • 1 Large pot
  • 1 Measuring Cups 1 Cup, 1/2 Cup, 1 Tablespoon, 1/2 Tablespoon
  • 1 Cutting board
  • 1 Knife For chopping and mincing

Ingredients

  • 3 Large Carrots
  • 3 Celery Stalks
  • 1 Medium Onion
  • 3 Cloves of Garlic
  • 4 cups Cooked Shredded Chicken
  • 10 cups Chicken Broth
  • 2.5 cups Egg Noodle
  • 1.5 tbsp Oil
  • Salt and Pepper (To Taste)
  • Fresh Parsley or Lemon (Optional)

Instructions

Prep

  • Wash hands and clean your workspace
  • Chop carrots, celery, and onion into small pieces
  • Mince garlic
  • Shred cooked chicken

Cooking Instructions

  • Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat
  • Add onions carrots, celery. Cook for 5 minutes until softened
  • Add garlic and stir for 30 seconds
  • Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil
  • Add egg noodles and cook until tender (about 7-10 minutes)
  • Stir in shredded chicken, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 2 minutes
  • Turn off the heat and serve!
  • (Optional) Add fresh parsley or a squeeze of lemon for extra flavor
