- Hot Plate
Ingredients
- 1 LB Ground Beef or Turkey
- Taco Shells
- 1 Packet of Taco Seasoning
- Cheese
- Salt
- Sour Cream
- Pepper
- Salsa
- Onion
- Avocado
- Lettuce
- Tomato
Instructions
Station 1: Meat
- Preheat pan on hot plate at Medium heat (3)
- Add 1Tbs of oil to pan
- Add meat to pan
- Add salt and pepper
- Break up meat and cook until done, stirring constantly about 10 minutes.
- Add half cup (1/2 cup) of water to turkey
- Turn heat down to low (1-2)
- Add seasoning packet to meat and stir constantly until sauce thickens about 5 minutes.
- Once thickened, turn hot plate off, and let sit.
Station 2: Condiments/toppings
- Chop lettuce into thin strips add to bowl
- Chop onions into small pieces, add to bowl
- Chop tomato into small pieces, add to bowl
- Slice jalapenos
- Chop avocado into small cubes, add to bowl
Prepare:
- Grab a clean plate
- Choose 1 taco shell (Hard or Soft)
- Scoop turkey meat onto taco shell
- Add preferred toppings ( tomato, onion, avocado, jalapeno, cheese, salsa, sour cream)
- If you have a soft taco, roll it up
