Personal English Muffin Pizzas

Personal English Muffin Pizza

Equipment

  • 1/4 cup Mixing bowls
  • Spoon
  • Plate
  • Baking Sheet
  • Parchment paper
  • Oven mitts
  • Timer

Ingredients

  • 1 English muffin split in half (GF use GF bread)
  • ¼ cup pizza sauce
  • ¼ –⅓ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsp toppings pepperoni, veggies, or sausage
  • Optional: Italian seasoning

Instructions

Cooking Instructions (Members Follow Independently)

  • Wash hands.
  • Preheat oven to 375°F.
  • Place parchment paper on a baking sheet.
  • Split English muffin and place both halves on the tray.
  • Spread pizza sauce evenly on each half.
  • Sprinkle cheese over the sauce.
  • Add desired toppings.
  • Place tray in oven and bake for 8–10 minutes until cheese melts.
  • Carefully remove tray using oven mitts.
  • Let cool for 2–3 minutes before eating.

Clean-Up Steps (Members Complete Independently)

  • Turn off and check equipment
  • Ensure oven is turned off
  • Remove all food from cooking area
  • Throw away trash (wrappers, unused scraps)
  • Store any leftover ingredients properly (if applicable)
  • Wash Dishes
  • Wash all used items (bowls, spoons, measuring cups) with warm soapy water
  • Rinse and place in drying rack or dry with towel
  • Clean Surfaces
  • Wipe down counters and cooking area
  • Clean any spills (sauce, cheese, crumbs)
  • Put Materials Away
  • Return ingredients to proper place
  • Put away clean dishes and tools
  • Final Check
  • Push in chairs/stools
  • Ensure workspace is clean and organized

Single-Serve Coconut Cream Cheese Bites

  • 1 Tablespoon
  • 1 Teaspoon
  • Small bowl

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons cream cheese
  • 1 teaspoon butter softened
  • 3 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 ½ tablespoons coconut flakes
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  • Wash your hands.
  • Grab a small bowl.
  • Add 2 teaspoons cream cheese to the bowl.
  • Add 1 teaspoon softened butter.
  • Use a spoon or fork to mix until smooth.
  • Add 3 tablespoons powdered sugar.
  • Add 1/8 teaspoon vanilla extract.
  • Mix everything together until creamy.
  • Add 2½ tablespoons coconut flakes and stir well.
  • Roll the mixture into 3–4 small balls.
  • Pour 1 teaspoon cinnamon onto a plate.
  • Roll each ball in the cinnamon until coated.
  • Place the balls in the refrigerator for 20 minutes to firm up.
  • Enjoy your coconut cream cheese bites!

Personal Breakfast Burrito

Personal Breakfast Burritos are simple, single-serving wraps made with scrambled eggs, cheese, and a protein like sausage or beans, all rolled inside a warm tortilla. They’re quick to prepare, customizable, and perfect for practicing basic cooking skills like cracking eggs, using a microwave, assembling ingredients, and cleaning up independently.

Equipment

  • Microwave safe bowl
  • Fork
  • Microwave

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tortilla
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheese
  • 1/4 cup fully cooked sausage or black beans
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

PREP

  • Wash Hands using soap and water
  • gather all cooking equiptment
  • gather all ingredients

Cook Sausage

    this will be done in large group, and we will separate sausage after cooked
  • heat a pan over medium-high heat
  • add the sausage to the skillet
  • break it into crumbles using a spatula
  • Cook for about 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until evenly browned and no longer pink
  • Drain excess grease if desired, and ensure it reaches 160 degrees
  • turn off heat source, and set aside

Prepare Eggs- Indivudally

  • Crack 2 eggs into a microwave-safe bowl. discard shells
  • Add a small pinch of salt & pepper.
  • Whisk thoroughly with fork until fully mixed (no streaks of clear egg white).
  • Place bowl in microwave. cook for 45 seconds
  • Remove carefully (bowl may be hot).
    Stir eggs.
  • Microwave another 30–45 seconds until eggs are fully cooked and firm.
    Set aside
  • Eggs should not look runny.
    Use oven mitt if bowl is hot.
    Let sit 30 seconds before handling.

Tortilla

  • Place tortilla on microwave-safe plate.
    Heat for 10–15 seconds.

Assemble Burrito

  • Place eggs in center of tortilla.
  • Add sausage. Can substitute rinsed black beans.
  • Sprinkle cheese on top
  • Fold sides in and roll tightly.
  • Optional: Microwave assembled burrito 10–15 seconds to melt cheese.

Clean Up

  • Ensure microwave door is closed.
    Wipe microwave if splatter occurred.
    Wash bowl, fork, and plate.
    Wipe down counters.
