Yields: 1
Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup of milk
- 2 triangles of puff pastry
- 1-2 tablespoon freshly grated shredded cheese
- Optional additions: ham, broccoli, bell pepper
- Optional seasonings: salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Grease ramekins
- Roll out puff pastry, and line one ramekin with two triangles, like a pie crust
- Gently press the dough into the bottom and stretch up the sides, poke holes in the bottom of the dough, careful to not go through the dough
- In a small bowl, whisk together eggs, milk and salt and pepper
- Prepare any additional ingredients, steam and chop broccoli, dice peppers, and dice ham
- Place at the bottom, on top of pressed puff pastry
- Pour the mixture over the additional ingredients
- Sprinkle grated cheese on top
- Cook for 20-25 minutes, or until knife comes out clean
- Let stand for 10 minutes
- Pro tip if you want to remove from ramekin: Easiest way to remove puff pastry once cooled is to run a butter knife around the edge to loosen it up (or eat from ramekin!)
