Baked Chicken Nuggets
Chicken Nuggets are good.
Equipment
- 2 Bowls
- Cutting board
- Baking Sheet
Ingredients
- Chicken strips or breasts
- 1/2 cup Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
- 1 Tbsp. grated parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon milk
Instructions
- Preheat oven/toaster oven to 400 degrees
- Cover baking sheet with tin foil
- Spray tin foil with non-stick cooking spray
- In a bowl, mix together breadcrumbs, cheese, salt, thyme, and basil. Mix well.
- In another bowl, crack egg and add milk. Mix together.
- Using plate or cutting board, cut chicken into 1″ pieces
- Dip chicken pieces into egg mixture
- Then, dip chicken pieces into breadcrumb mixture. Cover evenly.
- Place chicken onto baking sheet and spread out evenly
- Place baking sheet into oven
- Set timer for 23 minutes
- After timer goes off, take chicken out of oven using oven mitts
- When chicken in completely white inside, it is safe to eat!
