Baked Chicken Nuggets

Chicken Nuggets are good.

Equipment

  • 2 Bowls
  • Cutting board
  • Baking Sheet

Ingredients

  • Chicken strips or breasts
  • 1/2 cup Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 1 Tbsp. grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon milk

Instructions

  • Preheat oven/toaster oven to 400 degrees
  • Cover baking sheet with tin foil
  • Spray tin foil with non-stick cooking spray
  • In a bowl, mix together breadcrumbs, cheese, salt, thyme, and basil. Mix well.
  • In another bowl, crack egg and add milk. Mix together.
  • Using plate or cutting board, cut chicken into 1″ pieces
  • Dip chicken pieces into egg mixture
  • Then, dip chicken pieces into breadcrumb mixture. Cover evenly.
  • Place chicken onto baking sheet and spread out evenly
  • Place baking sheet into oven
  • Set timer for 23 minutes
  • After timer goes off, take chicken out of oven using oven mitts
  • When chicken in completely white inside, it is safe to eat!
