- Microwave- safe plate
- Skillet
- Knife
- Cutting board
- Potato peeler (optional)
Ingredients
- 1-2 potatoes
- Seasoning of choice
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
Instructions
- Peel potato until no skin
- Cut potatoes into small quarters (up, down, then across)
- Place potatoes onto microwave safe plate
- Heat in microwave for 3 ½ – 4 ½ minutes
- Stick knife into potato to make sure it goes through (this means it’s done)
- Season potatoes
- Place 2 tablespoons of olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter in skillet
- Place over medium – high heat
- Allow butter to melt
- Add potatoes to skillet
- Cook potatoes 8-10 minutes (be sure to flip potatoes every 2-3 minutes for even browning)
- Enjoy! With ketchup (optional)
