- Wash hands.
- Place eggs in small pot.
- Fill pot with enough water to cover eggs by 1 inch.
- Put pot on stove and turn heat to high.
- When water starts boiling, set timer for 10–12 minutes.
- When timer goes off, turn off stove.
- Carefully use spoon to move eggs into cold water.
- Let cool for 5 minutes.
- Peel shell and enjoy.
